Care Guide

A little care, a lifetime of company.

Your Wool Ever Friend is made from natural wool and, with a little attention, will stay beautiful for decades. Here's how to keep it in perfect condition.

Dust removal

Gently blow away dust with a soft rubber blower (the kind used for camera lenses) or lightly brush with a soft, clean makeup brush. Never rub or scrub the wool.

Avoid direct sunlight

Keep your Wool Ever Friend away from prolonged direct sunlight. UV exposure will slowly fade natural wool colors over time.

Keep away from moisture

Wool absorbs moisture easily. Display in a dry, well-ventilated space and avoid bathrooms, kitchens, or humid rooms. Never wash with water.

Long-term storage

If storing, place inside a breathable cotton bag with a natural moth deterrent (cedar or lavender sachets). Do not use airtight plastic bags — wool needs to breathe.

Reshaping loose fibers

If a strand lifts or a small area flattens, gently press or roll it back into place with your fingertips. The wool will settle back into shape.

Handle with care

Lift sculptures from the body rather than the ears, tail, or legs. Framed portraits should be hung away from radiators, fireplaces, or vents.

A quiet promise

Natural wool ages gracefully. With gentle care, your piece will keep the softness, warmth, and quiet presence of the companion it honors — for many years to come.
